New Earth Designs Patterns
Nearly all of the patters are silk screened onto the backing of your choice. This provides a clear, dark line. You can choose either Monk's Cloth (cotton), Rug Warp (heavier cotton), or Linen. A guide is below to help you choose which is best. The prices are shown for monk's cloth and linen; rug warp prices fall somewhere in between. A colour photo comes with each pattern (if available).
Monk's Cloth is great for narrow-cut shaded pieces as you can always squeeze another row in. Many enjoy it for wide cuts as well.
Rug Warp is preferred by many for cuts between 3 and 5. I find it tight going beyond that.
Linen. The linen I use is wonderful for any cut between 3 and 8. I haven't personally tried going wider.
If you would like to submit a photo of a completed New Earth Designs or Lib Callaway rug, please do; I'd love to see it! Your photo may be selected to be attached to patterns as a visual aid.
All prices are subject to change without notice. A 6.25% MA sales tax will be added to MA residents. Patterns that are ordered will be sent with an invoice that includes reasonable shipping charges. Payment is due upon receipt of the pattern. Professional discounts are available to certified rug hooking teachers or stores; please inquire.
