In honor of our heroic history, I created this timeless design of a soldier preparing to leave for war. This could be his mother, wife, or sweetheart. Sadness is depicted in the fall leaves, soon to fade and die, and bright hope is represented by the berries and the bird, flying home. This was a Celebration submission from a couple of years ago.
