Ann Tuttle had a lot of leftover crewel odds and ends, so we used them up in Appliques. This pattern looks both crewel like and modern at the same time.

When I taught in SC in February 2015, at 2 events...Jackie Morrison graciously invited me to stay at her plantation home and I got to see the double length Appliques that we'd begun several years prior. All beautifully completed and in her upper hallway.
